Let’s be clear, we’re not talking about the electrical type but plug ins which you can install into your website! Having recently undertaken a project for a client who required a particular functionality that wasn’t available on a basic WordPress template, it was necessary to upgrade the membership to include a plug in.
Having spoken to the WordPress team via live chat (we can’t rate it enough by the way) we needed to upgrade the website to a business plan. This opens up a whole plethora of additional services and functionality via apps which you can then plug into your website. The only downside is that all of the apps available are made by independent developers so should you need any additional assistance you need to go directly to them rather than WordPress.
Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours to receive feedback but rather than throwing an idea out of the door or feeling like you need to go down the expensive bespoke build route, always check if there is a plug in available for your needs.
