It’s so important to keep abreast of those key performance indicators (KPIs) as it helps to mould your marketing strategy.

What’s working? What’s not? What can you do more of to continue momentum or what should you be doing less of if the results aren’t what you thought they would be? I monitor Google Analytics and social data on a daily basis so I can keep track of any anomalies.

Just the other day I recognised an issue on a client’s Linked In account, organic followers had dramatically decreased. I therefore flagged this with the account manager and what came to light was a new system that had been put in place but had unfortunately affected my client’s stats for the worse. This is now being worked on to resolve the matter but if left unnoticed it could have had far worse consequences with a drop off of traffic altogether.

Work smart, not hard! Keep an eye on that data, it can be overwhelming but just check the stats that are relevant to your business and keep pushing forward.
